New Years is way past over. Resolutions I’m sure have been broken and we are officially in 2016. I can’t believe it’s already almost March?! I’m hoping 2016 is better than 2015. 2015 wasn’t the best year for me you can say. My dad passed away unexpectedly (isn’t it always unexpected?) on March 22nd and then almost 7 months to the day, my mother-in-law passed away as well. First one blow, and then the other. Losing two people that I love so much made me realize that life is short and we truly need to treasure the time we have with family and not take relationships or life for granted… I’ve always wanted to start a blog. I swear I’ve been saying this for the past few years! Well, the day has FINALLY arrived. Exciting huh? I hope to use this blog to share a little bit about my life, different DIY projects I’m working on and why I may have a hoarding problem of free wood I find on the side of the road 😉 Okay, I do but I own it; ha! So welcome to my blog and here’s to 2016!
