Cheers to 2017!

Hello friends and Happy New Year!!  I hope you all had a wonderful time ringing in 2017.  Unfortunately, this lady was sick, so the husband and I stayed in.  We ordered pizza, watched The Jungle Book and were in bed by 11:30PM.  Not too bad if you ask me. 😉

So cheers to 2017!  I can’t believe how quickly 2016 went by?!  It feels like only the other day I was writing my first blog post to you all.

I decided to start a blog because it had been something that I always wanted to do but kept putting it on the back burner.  Then, after my dad and mother-in-law passed away, I just knew I had to do it.  And I’m so glad I did!  I’m enjoying this creative outlet and I hope it’s inspiring you to DIY and to get creative as well!

Blogging has been a great learning experience and I know that I will continue to learn with each new post.  I’ve learned that blogging is a lot more work than I thought it was going to be. 😛  But it’s so worth it!  Shout out to all you bloggers out there – thank you for inspiring me!…I also haven’t posted nearly as many posts as I would have liked to but this is something that I can work on in 2017 right?!  Off to a fresh start and I couldn’t be more excited!

I just want to say thank you to all you readers out there for checking out my posts and leaving comments or hitting that like button.  It means SO MUCH to me!!

Thankful and blessed are just two adjectives that describe my thoughts on 2016.  I know a lot of crazy stuff happened last year but I can honestly say it was a great year and I learned so much in so many ways.  I’m excited for 2017 and can’t wait to see what God has in store for me.  Cheers to 2017!  Wishing you a blessed year ahead.
