Paris in the springtime is beautiful. The weather is warm, everyone is out and about and the sun doesn’t set until 10pm. What more could you ask for?
The Eiffel Tower is a must-see when you travel to this city. Built in 1889 for the World’s Fair by Gustave Eiffel, it has become an icon of France.
A great way to check out this historical sight is by a picnic! Relax, eat some good food and enjoy the sights around you. (Side Note: If you haven’t seen my post on fancy picnics, then I suggest you check it out. :))
Our first day in Paris we wandered over to the Eiffel Tower and did just that.
We meandered along the Seine, taking our time as we made our way over to the 7th.
My husband took a break to rest his feet and I thought it was a perfect photo op. ;)
We stopped by a market and picked up some snacks and a bottle of rosé to enjoy. Then we made our way over to the French beauty.
All of a sudden, BAM! Here she is in all her splendidness. Looks fake huh? But it’s not. :)
The Eiffel Tower is pretty incredible to see in person.
The park was packed with people of all ages, locals and tourists alike, enjoying the beautiful day.
We found a shady spot and just relaxed and of course did some people watching. :)
Look how romantic.
Picnicking at the Eiffel Tower is definitely a must when the sun is shining.
I just wish I got a picture of our spread. :(
Let me know what you think of picnicking at the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy!
