People love to relax in Paris. Whether it is sitting at a cafe or at a park, they really enjoy themselves and living the Parisian lifestyle.
The Jardin du Luxembourg is located in the 6th arrondissement and is a perfect spot to relax.
The palace was built in 1612 by Marie de’ Medici, Louis IV’s widow, and is surrounded by immaculate gardens and a pond in the center.
My husband and I walked over here one morning to be as the Parisians. So many people were out and about.
I saw this adorable couple walking the grounds. I hope that’s me and my husband one day. #lifegoals :)
There are different paths and grassy areas to check out.
We walked over to the pond where kids were playing with sailboats.
We wandered around a bit and then sat in some chairs to just soak it all in. My husband fell asleep as I wrote. But first he took this picture. ;)
We saw some ponies which kids were riding. I fell in love and wanted to keep all of them. :)
Here are some more views of the grounds. And there is still more to explore!
Jardin du Luxembourg is definitely one of my favorite parts of Paris. I love how Paris has so many parks that you can just hang out at. And people take full advantage. Have fun exploring!
I hope you’ve been enjoying these posts about Paris. My next post is going to cover the Seine River and how awesome that is. You will not want to miss it! À la prochaine.
