Hey friends, happy Friday! The weekend is just about here!
Remember my post the other week about Cook’n with Class? Well, this has nothing to do with that except that after that amazing cooking class we made our way over to Sacré-Cœur. 🙂
Sacré-Cœur, which means Sacred Heart, is a church located in the Montmartre district. The church was constructed from 1875-1914. It’s located in the 18th arrondissement and is always a place I love to check out when in Paris.
It was a short walk from the Cook’n with Class kitchen…
You have to climb quite a few steps to get there but the view is well worth it.
The steps were beautifully covered in chalk.
The trees provided some much needed shade on this hot day.
Just a few more steps to go. :)
Love this view!
After getting a good workout in we eventually made it to the top. The area was packed with tourists and the line to get into the church was out of control.
Since we’ve been inside before we decided to forego this. If it’s your first time here I HIGHLY suggest you go into the church and climb to the top. We did this back in the day and it was amazing. You will love it!
The Eiffel Tower can be seen from all the way over here! There are so many great spots in Paris with amazing views. I just love it! :)
As usual, people were hanging out on the grass, enjoying the view and the weather.
You have to check out Sacré-Cœur next time your in Paris. You will love it!
I only have a few more posts to go in covering our time in Paris. I hope you’ve been learning a lot and are seeing places that you want to check out on your next trip. Enjoy your weekend!
