Happy 2019 friends!!  I hope you all had a wonderful New Year (how is it already February?!).  Our New Year’s day was spent at the hospital where I had our first baby (girl!).  So we’ve had a busy but wonderful start to the new year.  That’s why I’ve been MIA for the past months.  Being pregnant and working full time was pretty exhausting so my blogging got put on the back burner.

Before talking about being a new mom, I want to post about our Baby Moon we took to Kauai back in August.  I was about 4 months pregnant and it was the perfect trip to enjoy each other as we prepared for baby.

Kauai is known as the Garden Isle and when you’re there you’ll understand why.  We stayed on the North Shore in Princeville (at my FIL’s timeshare) and it was the perfect location.  The North Shore is a dream with mountains and waterfalls as your backdrop.  You seriously feel like you’re in Jurassic Park (it was filmed there after all!).

Today’s post is going to cover Hanalei. I had an AMAZING pre-natal massage here.  The price point isn’t bad and my masseuse was awesome.  I highly recommend!

3. Food Trucks

You might be familiar with this place from the movie The Descendants with George Clooney.  My coworker told me about this spot and I’m so glad she did!  We ventured here after AMA and it has such a great vibe.  Live music plays nightly and it has a local feel. We were just here for drinks (okay only my husband!) and the music, but they do serve food.  Definitely check it out.

7. PiazzaKilauea Lighthouse, Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge, Waimea Canyon, Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Napali Coast, Anakē's Juice Bar, Aloha Juice Bar, Kauai, Hawaii, Travel, Polihale Beach, Hanalei Bay, Hanalei Bay Massage, Tahiti Nui Restaurant, Princeville, North Shore, Piazza Kauai, Wishing Well Shave Ice, Poipu,While Piazza is just outside of Hanalei in Princeville, I had to mention it because they serve a bomb vegan margarita pizza with Miyoko’s Mozzarella.  I seriously want to go back to Kauai just for this pizza!  Even if you aren’t vegan you will love it (TRUST ME).  We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance along with the food.
